COVID PROTCOLS AS OF 1/7/22 - FOLLOWING CDPH GUIDELINES 

ANYONE WITH A POSITIVE COVID TEST - ISOLATION 

 -Stay home for at least 5 days.   

-Isolation can end after day 5 if symptoms are not present or are resolving and a diagnostic specimen collected on day 5 or later tests negative. 

 -If unable to test or choosing not to test, and symptoms are not present or are resolving, isolation can end after day 10.  

-If fever is present, isolation should be continued until fever resolves 

 -Wear a well-fitting mask around others for a total of 10 days, especially in indoor settings. 

COVID 19 EXPOSURE 

***UNVACCINATED OR VACCINATED AND BOOSTER ELIGIBLE BUT NOT YET RECEIVED BOOSTER - QUARANTINE REQUIRED*** 

 -Stay home for at least 5 days, after your last contact with a person who has COVID-19. 

 -Test on day 5.  

 -Quarantine can end after day 5 if symptoms are not present and a diagnostic specimen collected on day 5 or later tests negative. 

 -If unable to test or choosing not to test, and symptoms are not present, quarantine can end after day 10. 

 -Wear a well-fitting mask around others for a total of 10 days, especially in indoor settings. 

***BOOSTER OR VACCINATED AND NOT YET BOOSTER ELIGIBLE - QUARANTINE NOT REQUIRED*** 

 -Test on day 5. 

 -Wear a well-fitting mask around others for 10 days, especially in indoor settings. 

 -If testing positive, follow isolation recommendations above. 

 -If symptoms develop, test and stay home.  

 ***QUARANTINE EXEMPTION*** -Currently, no exemptions exist per CDPH.    

 ***INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING ANY COVID SYMPTOMS*** 

 -Stay home from the fields 

 -Seek medical guidance or COVID testing 

 -Scenario 1 - Negative COVID test-player/coach may return after 24 hours of no fever(without use of fever reducing medicine) and other symptoms have improved    

-Scenario 2 - Positive COVID test-player/coach must follow isolation guidelines above    

-Scenario 3 - No Test-player/coach can return to the fields if they provide a note from a doctor confirming another diagnosis
